Wilfrid Wood is a self -taught sculptor from London. Originally from a graphic design background, Wilfrid quickly gained a position as a head constructor with the 1980 satirical TV show, Spitting Image.
Using many mediums including polymer clay and plasticine, Wilfrid’s candid sculptures depict everyday themes from politicians to sportsmen, from musicians to celebrities with the occasional dog walker for good measure.
Wilfird’s drawing skills are equally as formidable. He recently published a small print run to accompany a show entitled ‘Drawings of my BF’.
